Hey Everyone,

I was checking out some of the blogs when I came across HeySaidRenee’s blog post entitled “Four Things”. In fact she had seen it on Sky Book Corner’s Four Things Tag post who had pinched the idea from Jenny in Neverland, who had pinched it from….. you get the idea 🙂 So I thought I’d follow the lead and join in, and post my answers to the Four Things tags – a great way for you to get to know me better 🙂 

So here goes;

Four places I’ve lived:

Surrey, England

Hillcrest Park, near Durban, in South Africa

Vacoas, Mauritius

Booragoon, Western Australia

Four jobs I’ve had:

Shop assistant in a card and gift shop (1st ever job 🙂 )

Secretary to Director in an Advertising Agency

English to French freelance translator

English Tutor for primary and secondary children

Four things I don’t eat:

Seafood… I know, I know, who lives on an island and doesn’t like seafood – but I just hate the smell!


Cauliflower – once again it’s a smell thing!!


Four of my favourite foods:



Steak and fries

Ice cream

Four movies I’ve watched more than once:

I can watch movies I love over and over again so my list is realllllllly long for this one so I’ll just mention a few that I can think of off the top of my head and that are more recent – I’ll leave out the classics like Pretty Woman, When Harry met Sally etc…

I don’t actually have time to watch TV anymore because it’s either the kids or my husband that hog the TV, but when I did, I used to watch;

Seeing my parents in October when they come over from Perth

Finalising and publishing my second book

The next book I’m going to read, then the next one after that……..

My 2 sons

My mobile phone

A glass of red wine (it’s 7.30 p.m. so nothing to worry about :-D)
